The Jag is an awesome boat, as are all Aire products. Have loaded mine up for multi day trips. It handles great. I have run it down class V rivers. It handles that great as well. I have never had it upside down... yet. The only thing I do not love about Aire cats is the inside D rings are higher than other cat tubes and this makes frame drop lower so floor or scout bars need to be shallow. Other than that Aire rocks!

Got my Jag and love it. I have not had it long enough to attest to its durability but it is built just like all the rest of the Aire boats I have so there is no doubt that it will last. The one thing I was surprised about was the rocker. Was not expecting it to have so much. Awesome. I will note that it only has 116 inches of top chafe. Not a big deal. I am cutting off 4 inches of my 120 inch frame this evening. Rowed it all weekend. Great boat.

This is an outstanding craft for the me and my family down big multi-day river trips. There are three of us and my wife does most of the driving through the class 4's on the Main Salmon while I run an Air Force or the Lynx 2. She loves our Jag and we load it up as we usually run self contained with a long, 66 inch frame from NRS. We like 9 foot oars when loaded. For 3 of us we are near 100% of capacity when we run Main Salmon, the Middle and the Yampa, and it handles the load quite well. In two quick strokes this cat moves out and tracks quite well putting us where we need to be when the going gets challenging. For two people this awesome cat would be underloaded and would handle even better. We use to overload our Ocelot for these trips but found this sweet boat way better when we borrowed one. We had to have one, and the modern shape really handles the waves better than ever. Unloaded this boat is great for day runs and would be an outstanding big class 4-5 whitewater boat. It is stable and solid and we have never turned her up side down in the 7 years we have owned her. One of your best boats, Aire! Don't change a thing!
