My wife and I began paddling on a Tributary Tomcat II (which we still love). We wanted to get a new boat for ourselves and keep the Tomcat for when we take guests. We decided on the Outfitter II. This boat is lighter and more rockered than the Tomcat and also has a flatter bottom. All of this makes it a bit more agile than the Tomcat while still maintaining excellent stability. The new grab handles are much more comfortable to carry the boat and the tow rings on the bow and stern are very handy. We are very pleased with our purchase. Keep up the good work AIRE!
