I have owned my outfitter 1 for about a year and a half.
I have owned my outfitter 1 for about a year and a half. I had been a class 3+ open boater but after a knee injury cannot canoe anymore. My experience with this boat has been nothing short of excellent. I have about 70 runs on it from class 2 floats to class 5 big water and class 4 creeks, it can handle everything you throw at it. This boat is exceptionally nimble able to make all but the smallest of eddies . I am amazed at its ability to ferry,it rides the backs of huge waves, the stability is phenomenal boofing 2' to 16' drops on creeks all day and the comfort is incomparable all day multiple days in a row, if you like to surf hang on for the ride because you are committed can be a beast to exit that hole but lots of fun. With all this said I am an aggressive whitewater boater and treat the river with respect, I keep it inflated tight to get the responsiveness out of it,also have two thwarts added front small thwart and large seat thwart. thigh braces and foot-pegs. I would recommend this boat to anyone looking for the most solid solo river platform available. from beginner to expert you will be pleased. I have also used the warranty process to fix a minor problem with threads on mesh drain screen(creeking is hard on inflatables) it was handled quickly and professionally. I am one happy customer. Thank you Aire for a great product and excellent service. Review by Kevin Leap (Posted on 9/8/2017)
