Designed, Built, Supported – In Idaho, USA
Every raft, cataraft, and inflatable kayak is designed, built, and supported in Meridian, Idaho, by people who live and breathe whitewater. Many of us are paddlers ourselves, and we design each product to withstand the most demanding river conditions.

The Best Warranty in the Business
We back every product with the AIRE 10-Year No Fault Warranty, the strongest warranty in whitewater. Why? Because we know our gear can take it. We build boats that last, and we stand behind every stitch, seam, and weld.

Advanced Materials for Unmatched Performance
AIRE boats are built with premium materials that prioritize durability and performance. Each craft features a 1670-denier, high-tenacity polyester base fabric that’s tensioned before PVC is applied for a stable, rock-solid feel on the water.
Our exclusive Précontraint Ferrari PVC places 70% of the coating on the exterior, offering increased abrasion resistance, UV protection, and tear strength without the weight of airtight materials. A final acrylic lacquer adds another layer of durability, helping each boat withstand years of sun, rocks, and whitewater abuse.

What Sets Us Apart
The AIREcell System
All AIRE boats feature the AIREcell bladder system, a rugged internal air-holding chamber separate from the PVC shell. This allows us to use non-airtight outer materials, optimizing each layer for durability and performance. It also means easy repairs — no need to replace an entire boat for one puncture.
Why AIRE
Why Choose AIRE Boats?
Designed, Built, and Supported in the USA
AIRE is proudly based in Meridian, Idaho, where every raft, cataraft, and inflatable kayak is built to meet the highest standards. Our boats are engineered by whitewater experts—including our own team—who know what it takes to thrive on the river.
The Best Warranty in the Industry
We stand behind our boats with the strongest commitment to quality and durability. That’s why every AIRE boat comes with our renowned 10-Year No-Fault Warranty.
Exclusive Outer Skin: Précontraint Ferrari PVC
AIRE’s outer PVC shell is manufactured exclusively for us by Ferrari Textiles. No other boat manufacturer has access to this proprietary material. It’s abrasion-resistant, UV-protected, and built to withstand the harshest river conditions.
Superior Base Fabric
We use a high-tenacity 1670 denier polyester weave that’s tensioned in all directions before and during PVC application. This creates exceptional dimensional stability and gives AIRE boats unmatched performance and rigidity when inflated—without unnecessary weight.
Smart PVC Design
Our PVC is engineered for river use—not airtightness. Ferrari coats 70% of the PVC on the outer layer and 30% on the inside, creating a tougher, more impact-resistant outer shell. This allows us to use 37 oz. non-airtight PVC, which holds up better under real-world river abuse.
Acrylic Lacquer Finish
To extend durability and resist UV rays, all AIRE PVC is finished with an acrylic lacquer. Our gray fabrics feature a custom dual-layer finish developed over three years with Ferrari for added abrasion resistance in high-contact areas like chafe strips and undersides.
Floor System Options
Raft Lace-In Floors
All AIRE rafts come with self-bailing lace-in floors that evacuate water quickly and efficiently. You can choose bow or stern placement for the floor valve. Tight lacing prevents excessive flex in whitewater, providing better handling and safety.
Regular Floor Pocket (RFP)
The standard RFP design allows water into the floor pocket to act as ballast. This helps the raft track better, adds stability, and can help pull the boat out of flips. RFPs include a rigid AIREcell, integrated drain holes, and a low center of gravity for confidence in big rapids.
Sealed Floor Pocket (SFP)
Sealed floor pockets are ideal for silty rivers and gear-hauling setups. With welded seams, waterproof zippers, and three valves (including a burp valve), SFPs shed weight and drain instantly—perfect for portaging and expedition-style rafting.
Kayak Floors
AIRE kayak floors feature dual-stitched seams with internal and external reinforcement, cargo loops, and welded mesh for self-bailing and ballast. The mesh design improves stability while keeping debris out of the floor pocket.
Paddle Cat Floors
Paddle cats like the Sabertooth and Mammoth use ultra-durable laced-in Superman mesh floors. These floors shed water instantly while resisting damage, thanks to a unique manufacturing process where each polyester strand is individually coated before weaving.
