Skeg Retrofit Kit (Plastic) – Upgrade Your Kayak for Flatwater Tracking

Enhance your kayak’s flatwater performance with the Skeg Retrofit Kit (Plastic). This removable skeg system is designed for AIRE whitewater inflatable kayaks and allows you to paddle straighter with less effort on calm water. Simply glue the skeg connector piece to the bottom of your kayak, and insert the skeg when you’re ready to switch from rapids to still water.

It’s the ideal upgrade for lake tours, mellow rivers, and any situation where improved tracking is key.

⚠️ Note: Includes skeg and connector. Glue is included but cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or via U.S. Mail. A physical address is required for UPS shipments.
