Sawyer MXS Oar Shaft – Lightweight Performance, Whitewater Tough

The Sawyer MXS Oar Shaft delivers a perfect balance of lightweight feel, rugged strength, and responsive flex thanks to its longitudinal fiberglass construction and X-Weave reinforcement. Designed for serious whitewater use, this shaft has been field-tested for years and refined through feedback from experienced rowers and outfitters.

Each MXS shaft includes a rope wrap and rubber stop for secure placement in oarlocks, as well as a laminated fir barrel grip with comfortable vinyl rubber grip covers. The Tite-Set Blade Lock system allows for secure, interchangeable blade attachment that won’t rattle, jam, or silt up in harsh conditions.
